Baghdad: First Deputy Speaker of Parliament Adnan Faihan al-Dulaimi extended his congratulations to the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zaidan, and all judges in celebration of Iraqi Judiciary Day. He highlighted the judiciary’s crucial role as a stabilizing force and its importance in upholding justice, truth, and stability. Faihan stressed the judiciary’s involvement in establishing the rule of law, building institutional governance, preserving democracy, and safeguarding rights and freedoms.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Faihan issued a statement emphasizing that internal challenges and regional risks make it essential to support the judiciary’s independence and prestige. This support is deemed a national priority due to the judiciary’s key role in maintaining social peace and addressing attempts at chaos and legal violations.

He reiterated that the House of Representatives is committed to supporting the judicial authority, aiming for integration that benefits Iraq and secures
a prosperous future for its citizens.
