Baghdad: First Deputy Speaker of Parliament Adnan Fayhan Al-Dulaimi and Head of the National Wisdom Movement Ammar Al-Hakim emphasized the importance of adhering to constitutional entitlements and resolving them within the specified timelines.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement issued by Al-Dulaimi's media office detailed that Al-Dulaimi met with Al-Hakim on Wednesday evening to discuss the latest political developments at both the local and regional levels, stressing the necessity of respecting constitutional deadlines and completing related obligations within their legal timeframes.

The statement added that the meeting also addressed prospects for parliamentary work in the upcoming phase, during which Al-Dulaimi underscored the need to activate the legislative and oversight roles of the Council of Representatives and to operate according to clear priorities that respond to the challenges of the current stage.

He noted that these priorities include the enactment of laws that directly affect citizens' daily lives, contribute to improving public services, and meet essential needs.

Al-Dulaimi affirmed that strengthening public trust in the legislative institution is a fundamental pillar for supporting the reform process and consolidating political and institutional stability in the country, in line with the aspirations of the Iraqi public and the requirements of the present phase.
