Foreign Ministers of Iraq and Oman Emphasize Need for Regional Stability and Peaceful Resolutions


Baghdad: Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein and his Omani counterpart, Badr Al-Busaidi, emphasized the importance of maintaining regional stability and keeping it away from conflicts.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, Hussein shared in a post on the (X) platform about his telephone conversation with Al-Busaidi. The discussion covered bilateral relations, outcomes of Al-Busaidi’s recent visit to Iran, developments in Iran’s internal situation, threats directed at the country, and the latest events in Yemen. Hussein also briefed Al-Busaidi on the progress of forming the Iraqi government.



Both ministers stressed the significance of maintaining regional stability and avoiding conflicts. They further highlighted the necessity of resolving the Yemeni crisis through dialogue and peaceful negotiations.
