Baghdad: The General Directorate of Traffic has denied reports regarding the suicide of one of its members.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Directorate issued a statement on Thursday dismissing the circulating claims on social media platforms. The statement underscored that these reports are unfounded and lack any official source.

The Directorate has urged citizens and social media users to exercise caution in disseminating news. It stressed the importance of relying solely on official statements from authorities and cautioned against spreading rumors that could potentially cause confusion and impact the families of its members and public sentiment.
