Tehran: The Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Army, Major General Amir Hatami, stated that Iran considers the escalation of its enemies' rhetoric against it a serious threat and will not allow it to continue without an appropriate response.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Major General Hatami explained that popular protests are a natural occurrence, but their rapid transformation into riots raises suspicions about their true objectives. He emphasized that the Iranian armed forces will take decisive action against any party that attacks the country.
He pointed out that the United States and the "Zionist entity" have always been enemies of the Iranian people, and that their recent interference in Iran's internal affairs is a clear example of this, stressing that their enmity is not new but extends throughout history.
