Baghdad: The Iraqi Artists Syndicate on Thursday mourned the passing of veteran artist Abdul Razzaq Al-Azzawi.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the syndicate expressed deep sorrow over the loss. In their statement, they said: 'With profound sorrow and grief, the Iraqi Artists Syndicate mourns the passing of artist Abdul Razzaq Al-Azzawi, who passed away today.'

The statement further conveyed the syndicate's prayers for divine mercy upon Al-Azzawi and extended heartfelt condolences to his family, loved ones, and colleagues. They invoked a traditional expression of faith, acknowledging the inevitability of returning to God.
