Basra: The Iraqi Drilling Company has announced the completion of drilling and reclaiming operations for three oil wells in the Zubair field. This development marks a significant step in enhancing oil extraction and productivity in the region.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the company’s technical and engineering teams successfully drilled well Zubair/638 to a depth of 3,500 meters. This operation was executed using the IDC 37 drilling rig for the Italian company ENI, utilizing advanced technologies in collaboration with Schlumberger Oil Services. The use of modern techniques is expected to support extraction operations and increase the productivity of the field.

Additionally, the company completed the reclamation of two oil wells using the IDC 47 and IDC 48 rigs. These activities were conducted under a contract with ENI, adhering to stringent technical standards to ensure operational efficiency and bolster production efforts.
