Kirkuk: Iraqi F16 aircraft targeted an ISIS cache in Wadi Zgheiton, in Kirkuk.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Security Media Cell announced that the operation was carried out following directives from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani. The mission aimed to pursue the remaining elements of the defeated ISIS groups. The operation was based on precise intelligence and the efforts of the Military Intelligence Directorate, coordinated with the Targeting Cell in the Joint Operations Command.
The targeted cache housed several ISIS terrorist gang members and was situated in Wadi Zgheiton within the Kirkuk Operations Sector. The mission was executed by the Air Force Falcons using F16 aircraft, demonstrating coordinated military planning and execution aimed at eradicating remaining ISIS threats in the region.
