Israel Assassinated Hamas Official and Two Aides in Jenin


Jenin: The Israeli army assassinated Qais al-Bitawi, the head of Hamas’s local operations in the Jenin refugee camp, along with two of his aides, in an airstrike on a house located on the outskirts of Jenin city in the northern West Bank.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, local sources reported that a drone targeted a house that was under construction in the area. Several ambulances from the Palestinian Red Crescent Society quickly arrived at the scene to provide assistance.



The sources further indicated that multiple Israeli military vehicles stormed the site following the airstrike. The Red Crescent Society reported that its personnel were detained by Israeli soldiers upon arriving at the targeted location.
