Baghdad:The President of the Republic, Nizar Amidi, has extended his congratulations to the Mandaean Sabians on the occasion of the Feast of Prosperity.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, in a post on the platform ‘X’ (formerly Twitter), President Amidi expressed his warmest congratulations and best wishes to the Mandaean Sabian community, referring to the occasion as the Feast of Prosperity (Dehwa Hanina).

He emphasized that the Mandaeans are an integral part of the national fabric, acknowledging their consistent commitment to the country and their identity despite facing various hardships and challenges. President Amidi also highlighted the importance of providing full support and appreciation to the Mandaean Sabians for their significant contributions toward building the nation.
