Israel Launches Second Attack on Syrian Military Sites Within 24 Hours

Sweida: The Israeli army targeted Khalkhala military airport in the northern countryside of Sweida, Syria, on Sunday afternoon, marking the second attack on the country within 24 hours.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, local sources reported hearing explosions at the airport, which were accompanied by the flight of warplanes, likely Israeli, in the skies above the area. This incident follows a previous attack where Israeli warplanes launched raids on weapons depots in Tal al-Manea in the al-Kiswah area of the Damascus countryside. The earlier attack resulted in significant material damage, though there have been no confirmed reports of human casualties.

Avichay Adraee, the Spokesman for the Israeli army for the Arab media, stated that the Israeli air force targeted a weapons depot associated with the “Hamas” movement in the Deir Ali area in southern Syria. This series of attacks underscores the ongoing military tensions in the region.
