Joint Operations Command: Martyrs and Wounded from the Popular Mobilization Forces in a Treacherous Bombing in Kirkuk

Kirkuk: The Joint Operations Command announced on Tuesday that a number of Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) fighters were killed and wounded in a treacherous bombing in Kirkuk.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Security Media Cell issued a statement declaring: “With deep sorrow and grief, and with hearts believing in God’s will and decree, we mourn a group of our heroes in the Popular Mobilization Forces who were martyred at dawn today. We also pray to the Almighty for the recovery of a number of fighters who were wounded in this treacherous bombing that targeted them in the Dibis district of Kirkuk province.”

The statement further emphasized condemnation of the attack, describing it as “heinous” and highlighting that the assault was an affront not just to a specific position, force, or headquarters, but amounted to a blatant attack on Iraq itself.
