Baghdad: The Holy Kadhimiya Shrine announced on Thursday the successful implementation of its plan for commemorating the martyrdom anniversary of Imam Musa ibn Jaafar Al-Kadhim, with more than 15 million pilgrims participating in the Rajab visitation.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Shrine's Secretary-General, Haidar Abdul Amir Mahdi, stated that all administrative, security, and service staff were mobilized, supported by 5,600 volunteers, to facilitate the pilgrimage. Hundreds of tons of food and drinking water were distributed, over 86,000 medical cases were treated, and hundreds of vehicles and 500 service units were deployed.

Mahdi expressed his appreciation to the security forces, Popular Mobilization Forces, service institutions, holy shrines, processions, and media outlets for their efforts in ensuring the success of the mass event.
