Lebanese Foreign Ministry Files a Complaint With the Security Council Regarding Israeli Violations

New york: The Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, through Lebanon’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations in New York, sent a letter to the Security Council and the UN Secretary-General, lodging a complaint regarding the continued Israeli violations of Lebanese sovereignty over the past months.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry requested that this complaint be issued as an official document of the Security Council and the General Assembly and distributed to all UN member states.

The complaint included three detailed tables of daily Israeli violations of Lebanese sovereignty during the months of October, November, and December 2025. The number of violations was 542, 691, and 803 respectively, totaling 2,036 violations.

The Ministry reiterated that these violations constitute an infringement upon Lebanon’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and a clear breach of Israel’s obligations under Security Council Resolution 1701 (2006) issued on 11/8/2006, and the Declaration of Cessation of Hostilities issued on 26/11/2004.
