Maritime Transport Completes Dry-Docking of Tankers Al-Asma’i and Al-Qurna at DMC Shipyard

United arab emirates: The General Company for Maritime Transport has announced the successful completion of the dry-docking process for the tankers Al-Asma'i and Al-Qurna at the DMC shipyard in the United Arab Emirates. This operation was finalized in a remarkable time frame of just 15 days, showcasing the effective planning, swift execution, and high coordination among all involved.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the company's Director General and Chief Marine Engineer, Ahmed Jassim Al-Asadi, emphasized in a press release the critical role played by the tanker crews in achieving this milestone. Their performance and dedication ensured that the dry-docking operations met the highest standards of safety and quality within the designated timeframe.

Al-Asadi extended his appreciation to all personnel who contributed to this successful undertaking, expressing hopes for their continued success in bolstering the company's fleet and elevating the status of Iraqi maritime transport.
