Amarah The Maysan Operations Command announced the implementation of a security operation in a number of areas of the city of Al-Amarah, the center of Maysan Governorate, to impose security and implement arrest warrants issued by the judiciary.
It said in a statement: “The operation resulted in the arrest of 17 wanted persons for various criminal offenses, the seizure of 173 bicycles in violation of regulations and laws, 20 violating vehicles, and the seizure of 21 Kalashnikov rifles, 3 Semenovs, 3 hunting weapons, in addition to various stores and more than 400 different bullets.”
It stressed the continuation of its efforts to impose security and order throughout the province.
