Maysan: The 'Hussein (PBUH) Forever' Festival was inaugurated this evening at the Maysan Writers and Authors Union headquarters, showcasing the talents of 14 poets and drawing a crowd of writers, intellectuals, and cultural enthusiasts.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the festival, led by writer Muhannad Abdul-Jabbar, featured a series of poetic recitations. These poems highlighted the values and principles represented by the uprising of Imam Hussein (PBUH), stressing the importance of supporting truth and resisting falsehood as a true continuation of the Prophet Muhammad's message and counteracting historical media misinformation.

The festival concluded with the Maysan Writers and Authors Union honoring the poets who participated, awarding them certificates of appreciation. These were presented by writers Dr. Ali Musa Al-Kaabi and translator Abdul-Hakim Yassin, acknowledging their significant contributions to the festival's success.
