Ministry of Education and Teachers’ Syndicate Discuss Reforms in Literacy Programs

Baghdad: The Ministry of Education and the Teachers’ Syndicate are engaged in discussions to enhance educational performance and regulate supervision in literacy programs. These discussions focus on strategies to improve the educational work environment and to ensure the quality of the educational process.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Education revealed in a press release that the discussions took place during two meetings led by the Director General of Educational Supervision, Dr. Raad Ramadan Mohammed Al-Jubouri. He met with Mohammed Saeed, the head of the Teachers’ Syndicate/Rusafa Branch, along with several members of the Syndicate’s administrative board. These meetings were designed to exchange views and proposals aimed at raising the efficiency of teachers and educational supervisors.

In parallel, Dr. Al-Jubouri also engaged with the team responsible for preparing regulatory guidelines for supervisors in literacy and accelerated learning centers. The discussions focused on organizing supervisory work, distributing supervisors, and monitoring educational performance. These initiatives aim to ensure the systematic and effective implementation of non-formal education programs, thereby enabling learners to recover missed educational opportunities.
