Tehran: Iranian media announced the appointment of Mohsen Rezaei as the Secretary General of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, following the resignation of Mohammad Baqer Zolghadr.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Rezaei's appointment comes as he represents the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in this significant role. The change in leadership was confirmed after Zolghadr stepped down from his position, paving the way for Rezaei's new appointment.
