Najaf: At the beginning of his Friday sermon in Najaf today, Imam and preacher of Najaf, Sadr al-Din al-Qubanchi, said, “The agreement of the coordinating framework on the prime minister is a step in the right direction.”

According to National Iraqi News Agency, regarding the border security situation and the Syrian issue, al-Qubanchi affirmed the readiness of our security, military, and Popular Mobilization Forces, reminding everyone that vigilance is required and we must remain vigilant.

He added, “There is no cause for concern regarding Iraq, and this Iraqi experiment will not collapse. Any thought of Iraq’s downfall is a false and delusional notion.”

On local matters, al-Qubanchi thanked the local police in Najaf for combating inappropriate content, considering it a positive step and saying, “We commend them for this initiative.”

On regional matters, regarding the drums of war between Iran and America, al-Qubanchi said, “Iran will not be defeated, and the world is facing a new equation: the collapse of the tyrannical state and the rise of the righteous state.”
