NATO Launches a Largest Troop Movement Exercise to Boost Defense Capabilities Against Attacks

Nato: NATO has launched its largest troop movement exercise of the year, dubbed “Steadfast Dart 26.” The first contingent of Italian soldiers is expected to arrive later today, Thursday, at the German port of Emden in East Frisia, along with equipment, supplies, and vehicles.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Germany is the host country for this major military exercise and also serves as a central hub for logistical operations.

NATO’s operational headquarters in Brunssum, Netherlands, explained that the public start of the exercise in Germany will take place in the port of Emden. The drills aim to test the ability to rapidly and in a coordinated manner move forces.

The exercise also includes training in receiving, equipping, and redeploying multinational units in realistic conditions, with the goal of enhancing and demonstrating NATO’s ability to defend against any attacks targeting the Alliance’s territory.
