Mosul: The Martyrs and Wounded Compensation Committee in Nineveh has announced the distribution of compensation checks to approximately 500 families in Mosul. This significant step follows the completion of all legal procedures related to their cases.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, committee member Ahmed Mohammed stated that the distribution process adhered to established procedures, ensuring that the compensation reaches those entitled to it. He highlighted that the committee is committed to completing the remaining cases sequentially, which will be included in future batches.
The disbursement of compensation is part of the government's initiative to provide justice for the families of martyrs, the wounded, and others affected. Mohammed emphasized the ongoing coordination with relevant authorities to expedite the completion of the remaining cases and ensure the smooth flow of disbursement procedures.
