Baghdad Minister of Planning Khaled Battal has resolved the controversy over the date of submitting the draft law on the federal general budget 2022, stressing that it will not be presented in the Council of Ministers before the elections scheduled for the tenth of next October.

Battal said, in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency  NINA : “The general budget 2022 is still in the process of preparation,” noting that “the strategy for preparing the general budget is in its final stages, but it will take some time before it is officially presented to the Council of Ministers.”
