Baghdad: Following the targeting of Popular Mobilization Forces headquarters, a parliamentary warning was issued against dragging Iraq into war, and an emphasis was placed on pursuing those responsible internationally. The Reconstruction and Development parliamentary bloc condemned the repeated attacks targeting Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) headquarters in several governorates.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Bloc leader MP Bahaa al-Araji stated in a joint press conference Wednesday evening that "the PMF are affiliated with the Iraqi state by official and recognized law; therefore, this is an attack on the Iraqi state. The Prime Minister has formed a committee to follow up on the rights of the martyrs and the wounded, whose blood will not be shed in vain, and we will secure their rights through international law."

Al-Araji emphasized the necessity of preventing anyone from drawing Iraq into this war, stating that addressing these attacks is the responsibility of the Prime Minister, the government, and security institutions. He added, "The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces is responsible for the security file, and he is working diligently through his contacts, both domestically and internationally, to stop the war." He warned of attempts to draw Iraq into the conflict, urging action to prevent this.
