Baghdad:Prime Minister Ali Falih al-Zaidi has extended his congratulations to the Mandaean Sabean community in Iraq, as well as to Sheikh Sattar Jabbar Hilow, the leader of the Sabean Mandean community, on the occasion of the Festival of Prosperity, also known as “Dahfa Hanina.”

According to Iraqi News Agency, Al-Zaidi shared his message on the platform X, where he expressed his best wishes to the Mandaean Sabean community. The Prime Minister’s message emphasized the importance of the community as an integral and active component of Iraq’s social fabric, wishing them a dignified life within the nation.

The Festival of Prosperity, celebrated as Eid Al-Ezdihar, holds significant cultural importance for the Mandaean Sabean community. Al-Zaidi’s acknowledgment and well-wishes highlight the government’s recognition of the diverse cultural and religious fabric within Iraq.
