Baghdad: Prime Minister, Mohammed Shia al-Sudani received the US Charg© d’Affaires to Iraq, Joshua Harris. Both sides emphasized the importance of joint coordination to confront existing challenges.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Prime Minister’s Media Office said: “Al-Sudani received Harris today, Wednesday. During the meeting, they discussed prospects for cooperation between the two countries and ways to develop and expand bilateral relations in all fields, especially economic, investment, and development sectors, in a manner that serves the interests of both friendly nations.”

Al-Sudani and Harris reviewed developments in the regional and international situation and emphasized the importance of joint coordination to confront existing challenges and to prioritize dialogue in resolving conflicts in order to establish security and stability throughout the region.
