Baghdad:President Nizar Amedi congratulated the Yazidi community on the Jama Festival, emphasizing the protection of their rights and dignity.

According to Iraqi News Agency, President Amedi expressed his well-wishes in a post on X, highlighting the values of patience and adherence to the Yazidis’ land and identity. He conveyed hopes that the festival would initiate long-awaited joy through the return of displaced individuals, resolution of the missing and abducted cases, and restoration of peace to every Yazidi household.

President Amedi further wished Yazidis in Iraq and globally health, peace, and prosperity and reassured them that Iraq remains their homeland, committed to safeguarding their rights, dignity, and right to live in safety and stability.
