Baghdad: Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' al-Sudani has extended his condolences to the Iraqi people and Muslims worldwide on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Musa ibn Ja'far al-Kadhim, a revered figure known as the symbol of freedom.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Sudani made this announcement through a post on the X platform, highlighting the significance of Imam al-Kadhim's life. He emphasized that the Imam embodied the core values of the Prophet Muhammad's message, particularly faith, knowledge, and patience, which have made him a guiding light for people throughout history.
Al-Sudani also expressed gratitude for the efforts made during the ceremonies commemorating the Imam's martyrdom. He acknowledged the combined official and popular endeavors that ensured the provision of services, care, and protection to the millions of pilgrims who visited Imam al-Kadhim from both within and outside Iraq.
