Rusafa:Police units in Rusafa have detained a woman on charges related to sorcery and witchcraft.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Rusafa Police Command reported that the arrest was executed by officers from the Sadr III Police Department and the Sabaa Qusour Police Station. The woman was apprehended in an area within the Rusafa side of the city.

Authorities confiscated talismans, books, and other materials purportedly used in the practice of sorcery and witchcraft from the woman’s possession. The Rusafa Police Command confirmed that both the accused and the seized items have been transferred to the relevant authorities for further legal action.
