Doha: The leader of the Shiite National Movement, Sayyid Muqtada al-Sadr, offered his condolences on Monday to the Qatari people and the ruling family on the death of the Emir of Qatar, expressing his hope that the Arabian Gulf will enjoy security and stability.
According to Iraqi News Agency, Sayyid Al-Sadr conveyed his sentiments through a post on X, stating, "We offer our deepest condolences to the brotherly Qatari people and the ruling family on the death of the friendly Emir. We hope that the Arabian Gulf will live in peace with its neighbors, free from bases and fire, especially with Iran."
He further expressed his wishes for peace and unity, adding, "We ask God to grant the Qatari people peace, and to grant the Islamic and Arab countries brotherhood and harmony, free from normalization and terrorism, especially in Palestine and Lebanon."
