Geneva: The Head of the Iraqi parliamentary delegation, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Shakhwan Abdullah, held bilateral discussions with the Deputy Speaker of the Dutch Parliament, Hendrik Jan, in Geneva.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting between Abdullah and Jan focused on reviewing the latest developments and events in the region. The discussions also centered on exploring ways to strengthen bilateral relations across various fields to serve the mutual interests of Iraq and the Netherlands.

During the talks, Abdullah emphasized the need for the international coalition to assist Iraq in confronting security challenges. He also urged the international community and friendly nations to take immediate action to lift the siege on Gaza and facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Palestinian people.
