Sheikh Humam Hamoudi and Iraqi President Discuss Political Cooperation and Stability


Baghdad: Head of the Supreme Islamic Council of Iraq, Sheikh Humam Hamoudi, received President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid at his office today. The meeting addressed national and international developments and discussed issues of common interest.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions focused on strengthening political stability and fulfilling constitutional requirements within the legal framework. This includes the selection of the President of the Republic and the Prime Minister, as well as completing the formation of the Kurdistan Regional Government. These steps are seen as necessary to enhance the functioning of constitutional institutions and support the democratic process.



Both leaders emphasized the importance of integrating the roles of various authorities and deepening cooperation among political forces to preserve national unity and support efforts aimed at consolidating stability.
