Baghdad: Speaker of Parliament Haibat al-Halbousi and Oil Minister Hayyan Abdul Ghani emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation and coordination mechanisms between the legislative and executive branches.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Speaker's media office released a statement indicating that "Speaker of Parliament Haibat al-Halbousi received Oil Minister Hayyan Abdul Ghani today, Wednesday." The statement outlined that during the initial part of the meeting, the Oil Minister congratulated the Speaker on receiving the confidence of the members of Parliament and wished him success in his duties.

The statement further elaborated that the meeting addressed a number of issues related to the work of the Ministry, highlighting the significance of enhancing cooperation and coordination mechanisms between the legislative and executive branches.
