Baghdad: Speaker of Parliament Haibat al-Halbousi offered his condolences on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Ali (peace be upon him).

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the message from al-Halbousi read: “We extend our condolences to the Iraqi people and the Islamic nation on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him), recalling his timeless approach to establishing justice, consolidating the values of the state, and serving society. We affirm that drawing inspiration from his principles of justice and fairness remains fundamental to building a strong state that preserves the dignity of its citizens and safeguards its unity.”
