Baghdad: The Iraqi Sunni Endowment Office denied reports circulating on some social media platforms and websites regarding warnings issued to imams of Kurdish mosques in the Kirkuk and Salah al-Din governorates concerning collecting donations or delivering aid to Syrian Kurds.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the office affirmed that all its activities and directives are issued exclusively through official and approved channels, and that it reserves its legal right to pursue those who spread false news, as this misleads public opinion and harms religious and official institutions.
