Damascus: Syrian media reported today, Wednesday, that the Syrian Army continues to send military reinforcements from Latakia province towards the Deir Hafer front in the eastern Aleppo countryside. Images showed convoys of military vehicles loaded with weapons entering the area.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the media center affiliated with the Syrian Democratic Forces reported that “Damascus government factions,” as they called them, targeted infrastructure, particularly the Deir Hafer post office in the town of Deir Hafer, with artillery shells and suicide drones, without any casualties being reported.
The center also reported that the SDF forces “repelled an infiltration attempt by factions affiliated with the Damascus government on the axis of the village of Zubayda in the southern countryside of Deir Hafer. The attackers were forced to flee after their attempt failed, under the cover of drone strikes and using machine guns.”
The center added that “a Turkish Bayraktar drone targeted an SDF position in the village of albu Asi in the countryside of Tabqa city, resulting in several injuries among the fighters, who were then transferred for treatment. This is the third attack by Turkish drones in one week.”
According to the center, a Turkish drone also targeted an SDF military position in the city of Maskana, but no injuries were reported.
