Baghdad: The Cabinet discussed measures to maximize revenues and reduce financial expenditures. In its session held today, Tuesday, the Cabinet approved the transfer of ownership of a property to the Iraqi Contractors Union, replacing its current property, in accordance with the procedures stipulated by law, to serve as the Union’s permanent headquarters.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Cabinet also voted to allocate 5,000 dunams of land, from the specific plots listed in the Ministry of Construction and Housing’s letter to the Ministry of Finance dated December 22, 2025, to a real estate developer for distribution among employees of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
