Kuwait City: The Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, received the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Iraq, Dr. Mohammed Al-Hassan, during his visit to the State of Kuwait. The meeting was also attended by Foreign Minister Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Dr. Al-Hassan emphasized the strong ties between the Republic of Iraq and the State of Kuwait. He expressed confidence that these ties could help move beyond the past and foster new avenues for cooperation and mutual trust between the two nations.
