Baghdad: The Department of Musical Arts, represented by the Women's Affairs Division, in cooperation with the Shiite Endowment Office/Women's Affairs Department, organized today, Thursday, in the People's Hall, an intellectual and cultural lecture. This event was held on the occasion of commemorating the fortieth anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), under the supervision of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities, Qasim Taher Al-Sudani, and attended by a number of the department's staff.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Lecturer Ali Al-Madhoush, representing the Shiite Endowment Office, emphasized that the Husseini movement represents an enduring reformist and humanitarian project. This project solidified the values of justice, dignity, and sacrifice, and established the principles of standing against injustice and deviation. The movement continues to serve as an intellectual and moral school from which generations draw inspiration for reform and steadfastness in the face of injustice. Al-Madhoush reviewed the most prominent lessons and insights gleaned from the life of Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), highlighting the values of altruism, patience, and courage. Additionally, he spoke on the historical role played by Lady Zainab (peace be upon her) in preserving and conveying the message of the Husseini revolution, which has contributed to its enduring intellectual and humanitarian presence across generations.
