El-arish: The Iraqi Red Crescent Society has successfully delivered a significant amount of food aid to El Arish Airport in Egypt. This delivery was made possible through two separate shipments, totaling approximately 25 tons of food aid, intended to support the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the second consignment, weighing nearly 13 tons, was transported via an Iraqi Air Force aircraft and handed over to the Egyptian Red Crescent. The Egyptian organization is tasked with ensuring that the aid reaches its final destination in Gaza for distribution among the Palestinian population.

The statement from the Iraqi Red Crescent Society highlighted that this recent shipment follows an earlier delivery made on January 12, 2026, which weighed around 12 tons. The organization has committed to continuing these relief flights until they fulfill their goal of delivering approximately 75 tons of aid.
