Trump Declares End to Iran Memorandum of Understanding

Ankara: The US President has announced the end of the memorandum of understanding with Iran and expressed firm opposition to Iran’s nuclear ambitions. “We will not allow Iran to possess a nuclear weapon. They are crazy and have killed thousands,” he stated during a conversation with reporters in Turkey.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, President Trump criticized NATO for not assisting the US in addressing Iran, which he referred to as the “number one state sponsor of terrorism.” He emphasized, “We have wasted a lot of time with Iran, and we must do our job.”

Trump further distanced himself from any diplomatic dealings with Iran, describing its leaders as “sick” and labeling them as “scum, evil, and violent.” He expressed concern that if Iran had a nuclear weapon, they would have already used it.

The President also mentioned recent military actions, stating, “We attacked Iran very hard last night. They fired missiles at our ships, and that is why the United States responded.”
