Moscow: The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today, Wednesday, that its air defense systems successfully intercepted and destroyed 48 Ukrainian drones over various Russian regions last night.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry detailed that the interceptions occurred between 11:00 PM Moscow time on January 13 and 7:00 AM on January 14. The breakdown of the interceptions includes 25 drones over Rostov Oblast, 13 over Stavropol Krai, 5 over Bryansk Oblast, and 3 over the Republic of Crimea. Additionally, one drone each was destroyed over Belgorod Oblast and Kursk Oblast.
