Baghdad: The US Central Command has announced the initiation of another round of airstrikes targeting Iran. This development marks an escalation in the ongoing tensions between the two nations.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Central Command detailed in a press release that the airstrikes are intended to further degrade Iran’s capability to attack ships in the strategically significant Strait of Hormuz.
