Caracas: The Washington Post, citing informed officials, reported that the United States estimates approximately 75 people were killed during the attack targeting the capital, Caracas, and the abduction of Venezuelan President Nicol¡s Maduro.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the toll included members of the Venezuelan and Cuban security forces, as well as civilians caught in the crossfire. Most of the deaths occurred during an exchange of fire inside Maduro’s compound in Caracas.

The newspaper also reported that approximately six US soldiers were wounded during the operation, some by gunfire. The Pentagon stated that two US service members are still receiving treatment, while five others have returned to duty.
