US President Trump Declassifies Intelligence on Election System Vulnerabilities

Washington: US President Donald Trump announced the immediate declassification and release of crucial intelligence information revealing vulnerabilities in the US election infrastructure. In a televised address, Trump stated that the newly declassified documents expose significant weaknesses in electronic voting systems, highlighting their susceptibility to hacking.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Trump emphasized that the intelligence assessments indicate foreign interference in the US election system, identifying Russia, China, Iran, North Korea, and non-state actors as potential threats. The president pointed out that China was responsible for the largest hacking and theft of election data, a campaign that began in 2020.

Trump further revealed that the documents suggest involvement of elements within the deep state in intelligence agencies, allegedly colluding to cover up Chinese interference. Additionally, intelligence reports suggest the Chinese Communist Party has been supporting opposition figures since 2018 to force their resignation.
