Wasit: The Wasit Provincial Council has announced the suspension of official working hours for tomorrow, Wednesday, March 11, 2025, to honor the martyrdom of Imam Ali (peace be upon him).

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Council Chairman Ali Salimoun stated that the decision aligns with Wasit Provincial Council Resolution No. (44). This resolution, adopted in session (26), pertains to holidays for religious occasions, specifically commemorating the martyrdom of the Commander of the Faithful, Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him).
