Baghdad: President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zidan, and the head of the Counter-Terrorism Service, Lieutenant General Staff Zaid Houshi, discussed joint cooperation and coordination on Thursday.
According to Iraqi News Agency, the Supreme Judicial Council announced that Judge Faiq Zidan received Lieutenant General Staff Zaid Houshi at their official meeting. During the discussions, Judge Zidan extended his congratulations to Lieutenant General Houshi on assuming his new position as the head of the Counter-Terrorism Service.
The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation and coordination between the judiciary and the Counter-Terrorism Service. The aim of this collaboration is to fortify the rule of law within the country, ensuring that both institutions work cohesively in addressing issues related to counter-terrorism.
