Baghdad US President Joe Biden considered that the decision to withdraw from Afghanistan “is not only about this country, but it is about ending an era of major military operations.”
“This decision on Afghanistan is not just about Afghanistan,” Biden said on his Twitter account. “It’s about ending an era of major military operations, to make way for other countries to reshape.”
Biden also posted on Twitter, a video clip of his speech, where he said: “There is nothing low-grade, low-risk or low-cost in any war… It is time to end the war in Afghanistan… as we approach 20 years of war, pain, and sacrifices.” .. It is time to look to the future, not the past .. to a safer and more secure future .. I believe that this decision is the right decision, the wise decision, and the best decision for the benefit of the United States.”
